Do I need a ticket?
This is a free event so you do not require a ticket for entry

Picnic In The Park takes place at the bandstand in Ward Park, Castle St, Bangor BT20 4TA. See on Google Maps
If arriving by train the park is just a short walk from Bangor train station, and the Belfast to Bangor coastal route is one of the loveliest train journeys in Northern Ireland. The journey can take up to 40 minutes from Great Victoria Street Station and as little as 23 minutes from Belfast Lanyon Place, depending on the number of stops.
The music finishes at 5pm, in plenty time to get the last train back to Belfast at 9:25pm.
Buses and trains run regularly to and from Bangor Bus and Rail Station to Belfast.

Parking
Please do not park in front of people’s driveways in and around Ward Park. There are a number of car parks close by including The Flagship, ASDA, Queen’s Parade and the Marina.
Accessiblility
All of Ward Park is fully accessible including toilets.
Can I bring food/drink?
You are welcome to bring a picnic and your own refreshments – but please use the litter bins provided or bring your rubbish home with you, and be respectful to the beautiful surroundings and other members of the public.
Are there age restrictions?
No, all ages from young to old are very welcome.
What time can I arrive from?
As this is a public park, you are welcome to arrive at any time. All Sundays start at 3pm. We advise coming roughly 30mins in advance if you’d like a spot close to the front.
Can I bring a dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a leash.
