Sun 7th August
Early booking is advised for this entirely unique Festival event to the beautiful Copeland Island. Board our passenger boat at Pickie Pier for a 40 minute trip to the island, where you can enjoy your picnic with live music on the front lawn of the home of Uncle Ronnie Brown.
The backdrop for the evening will be the stunning views across to the North Down coastline, plus the island is home to many sea and land birds, seals, otters and a huge population of rabbits.
As ever, Ronnie’s lovely family will be the most gracious of hosts and make you feel completely at home.
This year’s Island Picnic is an evening affair due to the tide times. Details are as follows:
– Depart Pickie Pier at 5.15pm, arriving on Copeland Islands approx. 6pm
– Depart Copeland Islands at 9pm, landing back in Bangor approx. 9.45pm
Bring a picnic and wrap up warm!
