Monday 18th August 2025 | The Court House
The Tokyo Jazz Joints project is a critically acclaimed documentary project capturing the world of Japanese Jazz listening cafes, known as jazz kissa. Join us for a truly intimate listening experience curated by Philip Arneill, creator and photographer of the Tokyo Jazz Joints project, as he brings his immersive listening event from Belfast for the first time to The Court House Bangor.
Philip’s curated listening events – channelling the unique spirit of Japan’s subculture of jazz kissa – always sell out quickly, so don’t sleep on this one.
Due to the nature of the event, the doors will open at 7.30pm but will close again promptly at 8pm in order to create a fully immersive listening experience, so we encourage you to please arrive in good time and secure your seats to avoid disappointment.
Bangor Blues & Jazz Week is kindly supported by Ards & North Down Borough Council and sponsored by Beamish.
Strictly 18+ Train friendly
Please note: Tokyo Jazz Joints presents KIKU at The Court House is a seated event. If you have any accessibility requirements please contact us.
