Come celebrate the most exciting new artists in jazz, funk and soul, with singer Madi McCullough and her band, followed by The Living Groove jazz-funk quintet. Join us for an upbeat gig in the intimate surroundings of our upstairs bar, The Drawing Room. Booking essential as numbers are limited.
Meet Madi, a captivating singer from Bangor, whose deep passion for jazz, soul, samba and afrobeat fuels every performance. Her musical journey began with the rich, sample-heavy beats of 90s hip-hop, sparking a love that has only grown deeper over time. Drawing inspiration from legendary voices like Sarah Vaughan, Esperanza Spalding, and Gretchen Parlato, Madi has cultivated a unique sound that blends timeless jazz with a fresh neo-soul twist.
With music from the 1920s to present, Madi’s set, performed with her new trio in our upstairs space, the Drawing Room, promises an evening of rhythm, groove, and everything jazz.
Bangor Blues & Jazz Week is kindly supported by Ards & North Down Borough Council and sponsored by Beamish.
