MADI – Jazz, por favor!

Jazz, por favor! is a carefully curated evening by MADI. This show aims to widen your appreciation for world groove and jazz — with MADI (vocals), Matt Evans (piano), Linley Hamilton (trumpet), Ben Watson (drums) and Phil Acheson (bass) blending jazz with Latin rhythms, afrobeat and a touch of reggae.

MADI draws inspiration from legends such as Astrud Gilberto, Fela Kuti and Elza soarez as well as more modern musicians like Hollie Cook, Esperanza spalding and José González. Prepare for a playful night with songs in English, Portuguese and a touch of Spanish as the band works together to bring you all the big feels.
