After 35 years on the road – 25 of them performing opera and concerts with The Celtic Tenors – James Nelson is back home in Ireland. Although he’s living in Wicklow, his late mother was Freda McClure from Bangor. His new show Singing for his Supper is an up close and personal take on life, on the road and at home, with a heartwarming selection of songs. Over the last couple of years, he has brought the show to the Royal Irish Academy of Music, the National Opera House in Wexford, and twice to Sligo’s Hawk’s Well Theatre.
